PlantClashDetection

Concept

PlantClashDetection enables AutoCAD Plant 3D users to run a clash detection without using a license of Autodesk Navisworks.

PlantClashDetection analyzes AutoCAD Plant 3D objects and plain AutoCAD solids which can be in the current model or referenced into the current model.

Insulation on pipes and/or fittings created in AutoCAD Plant 3D is also analyzed when processing models in PlantClashDetection.

Valid clashes can be set as exceptions. Clashes set as exceptions will not be presented as valid clashes in subsequent clash detection runs. The list exceptions of are saved with the model drawing in which they are detected.
